Revolution vs Advantage Multi For Dogs And Cats

Hello everyone, this is Chip with another comparison to help you make the right decision. Today it is the turn of Revolution vs Advantage Multi for Dogs and Revolution vs Advantage Multi for Cats. Both are very good products, and offer very comprehensive protection. Mainly against heartworm disease and fleas, but both also offer a little more than that as well.

Revolution vs Advantage Multi

Me and Tato have written in detail about each product so it is also well worth taking a look at each product page as well. Not only do we provide information on where to buy for discount prices, but also where to buy without prescription. Plus lots of information on how good the products really are.

Dogs

Cats

Both medications are applied externally to the skin, and should never be given orally. Store them safely and away from animals and children too. And remember, they must be used once a month all through the year for maximum protection. Heartworm disease can be fatal, so don’t miss a month.

Some simple tables are going to be easier to follow and understand so that is what I am going to do!

Revolution vs Advantage Multi For Dogs

Dogs first, as I am the one writing this!

So there we have it. If you want the best protection against fleas in all their forms then Revolution is best, and it also deals with ticks too. But it will not treat for intestinal worms like Advantage Multi will. But both ensure heartworm disease is not going to happen.

Revolution vs Advantage Multi for Cats

Now it is the turn of these meds for Cats. Let’s see how they compare.

Again, both offer a great deal of protection. Revolution has the slight edge over Advantage Multi for Cats as it will treat fleas at both stages. But that is the only difference between the two brands really.

Both are applied in the same way and both work for a month.

I hope that you have found this useful. You can now ensure that you buy the right product, and give the protection that the animal you live with deserves.

Thanks

Chip!

Tato Chip.. cute ! We have a cat name “Pete-sa” ! We rescue feral cats… taking care of approx 30 -40 in 3 different locations. I have a formula using Revolution for large dogs on the cats (vet approved) I’m hearing a lot about Advantage Multi & it looks like worm wise, Adv may be better. We can not afford to do it for all of them every month, but do it enough to control the fleas & help the cats stay healthy(er) . Any thoughts of which to use & where to buy?

Love your site…. short & to the point.

Hi Marie, sounds like you have your hands full! For the cats I think I’d probably go with Advantage as it usually has a slight edge on price. Check out the links in the article with information on the best place to buy. Thanks for stopping by.
